Can you believe that we are less than two weeks away from Christmas? It has really snuck up on us! We have this little chalkboard A-Frame sign that goes outside our shop on the road, and we updated in November saying “It’s never too early for Christmas” – it made us giggle, and had lots of people commenting and popping in to share their Christmas stories. That felt like it was yesterday! And now we are almost there already!
Our wreath classes have been going really well and they’ve been the best fun. We have only got one more wreath-making class this year, and that’s taking place this saturday in our shop from 6pm onwards. You can find a link here. After that, our last class is on Friday the 22nd where we will be making a seasonal spruce table runner, or mantelpiece display. I can’t wait for this class, it is going to be really festive and fun. You can find a link to that one here. If you’ve met me, then you know that I’m really part of the “more is more” aesthetic, and there’s nothing quite as extra as the festive season!
Don’t forget to order your Christmas Arrangements and Bouquets early so that you’ll get on our delivery list (yes, we check it twice). We will be delivering on Christmas Eve and the shop will be open so there’s time to get some last minute bits, but we do hope you’ll come and pop in well before then so you can enjoy our gorgeous locally-made gifts, beautiful artworks, our new plants that arrive every week, and of course our festive flowers.
And lastly, for your diary, we’ll be closing on Christmas Day and reopening the shop on the 3rd of January. We do have a funeral or two during this period, so we are about if you have a flower emergency or need to make a booking. Just ring the shop as usual on 01702 3000 68 and it will be redirected to us in front of the fireplace, or in our flower studio.
We look forward to seeing you soon, and wish you all a very happy holidays!
